Stampin’ Up UK Private Classes

By | May 14, 2014

This post is a bit picture heavy, so bear with it!

Did you know I run regular monthly classes here at my craft room?

I also run private classes both here and at the venue of your choice for a minimum of four people.  I had a private class this week for four lovely ladies and here you can see the set up before their arrival.Stampin' Up Private Class-001

We focused the projects on cardmaking inspiration using another quality papercrafting product from Stampin’ Up – the Envelope Punch Board. We made a pocket fold card using the Stained Glass Window Technique.

This involves heat embossing your image onto vellum and colouring in the back of your image with markers. If you then put whisper white behind your image , it does give the impression of a stained glass window.

We used the gorgeous Happy Watercolour stamp set with Island Indigo and Gumball Green.

We also made a version in Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight.

We then made a cute little cracker style box again with the matching Island Indigo and Tangerine Tango card stock.

I cased this idea from a US demo Deb Valder.  You can see details of her idea on her blog.  She also has a YouTube video with very clear instructions on how to create it.  It is a really easy project to create but looks a lot more difficult.  It is the perfect sixe for a mini candle, or even some sweet treats.

Here are the products used should you wish to recreate these projects.

If you ever want to arrange your own private class, contact me for available dates. I am happy to travel to your home or location of your choice, and if you don’t fancy tidying up, you can come to my craft room and you won’t have to tidy up when the class is over either!

I look forward to hearing from you,

Until next time, happy crafting!
