Yes and Why Not?! Lately, I’ve been really enjoying creating scrapbook pages. In fact, I’m so obsessed with looking at images of pages on Pinterest, my Pinterest feed is now full of them! I saw a layout recently on Pinterest that I wanted to recreate with Stampin’ Up! products. The DSP and ribbons have recently retired but the two stamp sets; Artisan Textures and Tabs for Everything are current. Artisan Textures is going to feature heavily in my creations from now on, you may have seen it in some recent card projects and another scrapbook page.
Now I don’t normally share projects with retired products as I don’t think it’s fair to you if the products are no longer available. However, I thought you might get some inspiration from the layout nonetheless.
Tips and Tricks for my Tabs for Everything Scrapbook Page
- Like in the Pinterest sample, the photo was black and white so I wanted to use the colours that would have been in the photo had it been colour. So thinking of the sun, the sky and the meadow, I chose Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and recently retired Marina Mist. These colours are also in the retired DSP.
- I put a few of the words from Tabs for Everything on a block and randomly stamped them over my Artisan Textures stamped images.
- I added a few elements with the Wood Crate Framelits in Old Olive.
- “Lovely’ came from recently retired Petal Passion Memories and More that I sponged in Marina Mist,
- Finally a few enamel shapes were used to decorate.
