We had a family tradition whereby every Boxing Day morning, the Basildon Bond notepaper would be presented on the dining table and it was time to write our Thank you cards. I have continued this tradition with my own family. We do wait, however, until our return to our own house so we can get stuck in with my craft supplies and make the whole Thank you experience a bit more fun!
Aside from gifts, I had a few people to thank for helping me out over the holidays due to illness. So I made a bunch – pardon the pun – using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set and coordinating Tree Builder punch. I was inspired by a really cute project in our 2017-2018 Annual catalogue. you can see where I got my idea from below
I was inspired by the background flowers on this card and though I changed the stamp set, the orientation and the even the colour combination, this card from the Annual Catalogue certainly was my inspiration.
Tips and Tricks for my Sprinkles of Life Thank you card
- Use a standard card base in Crumb Cake with a mat of Coffee Break DSP
- Stamp the Floral Bunch tone on tone on a square of Crumb Cake measuring 8cm x 8cm. Trim off extra to fit card base.
- On a die-cut circle of Whisper White, stamp the basket in Soft Suede and use the Stampin Blends in Crumb Cake to colour and shade the basket.
- Stamp the Floral image on a scrap of Whisper White in Garden Green and shade with various Stampin’ Blends in colours of your choice. Punch out with the Tree Builder punch,
- Attach Floral image and sentiment with dimensionals
