Just a quick post to add my challenge card over at the Global Design Project.
This week we are asked to ‘case’ a design from Kylie Bertucci. I only recently discovered Kylie via Pinterest, just before the Global Design Project started. I just love her style and I love the card we’ve been asked to ‘case’. If you’re not sure of the term ‘case’ it stands for Copy And Share Everything. In stamping terms that means to copy or be inspired by the elements, or the layout or the colours used in the original design.
Here is Kylie’s card
I was inspired by the layout she used, and while I changed up the stamp set and the colours, it’s pretty close to her original design.
I hope you like my entry, do head over to Global Design Project to see the other entries. I’m sure they will fill you with ideas and inspiration for your own projects.
As always, here is a list of everything I used. If you would like to purchase anything, just click on the item and it will bring you straight to my online shop. Don’t forget to use the current shopping code listed on the right to receive a little gift in the post from me.
until next time,
happy crafting.

Hi Eimear
A beautiful Christmas card. Love the delicate winter theme. Thank you for playing along with the Global Design Project. Louise xo
Beautiful and delicate. I love the winter look you achieved with the white, silver and touch of blue. Your interpretation suits the layout so well. Thanks for sharing with Global Design Project.
Thank you Shawn, it’s one of my favourite colour combinations for Christmas
Eimear, I love the soft, wintry tones on your card. The original layout was a great place to start, but you have made this your own! I love the silver embossed vellum overlay. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project this week.
Thank you Paula, I do love using vellum, any excuse!!
Eimear – This is such a gorgeous take on this week’s challenge. Your large Vellum circle is just gorgeous. GORGEOUS. Thank you so much for playing along with this week’s Global Design Project CASE the Designer Challenge. I’m glad you did.
Thanks Brian, Kylie’s card was a tough act to follow!
