Celebrate Today for CAS Colours and Sketches #147

By | October 23, 2015

Just a quick post from me today as I’ve completed Challenge no 147 for CAS Colours and Sketches.

Here is the sketch that was my inspiration today.

And here was the card I came up with.

CAS New yEAR

I can’t believe I am actually making a card saying Happy New Year already, I feel that summer was just yesterday!  But Christmas will be upon us before we know it.

The sentiment comes from the Hostess set Six Sayings.  If you order over £150 personally or hold a workshop whether real or virtual and collect orders over £150, you will be able to purchase this set of six fabulous holiday greetings for just £10 in clear mount or £15 in wood mount with your hostess rewards.

If you would like to host a virtual workshop, or indeed a real one if you are commutable to Swindon, then do get in touch,

In the meantime, please leave a comment as I’d love to know what you think of my card.

As always, here is everything I used on my card today.  If you would like to purchase any of the supplkies, jiust click on an item and it will bring you straight to my online shop.

Until next time, happy crafting,

Hi! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Appreciate it

Lovely clear, sharp embossing on your baubles and love the silver strings and bows. Thanks for joining us at CC&S this week. Stef x

The translucent quality of the vellum makes it a wonderful choice for the ornaments. Thanks for sharing your festive card with us at CC&S! 🙂

I love it Eimear. Clever to make the shapes ornaments. I agree that it’s hard to see new year’s cards already though!
