Easter Eggs with the Balloon Bouquet Punch

By | March 23, 2021

I had a totally different card planned for my Facebook Live on Monday, but during an evening stroll in the garden, I spotted a few feathers and had a flash of inspiration for an Easter Egg card with the Balloon Bouquet punch…

I also remembered a card I had seen from one of our Artisans, TammyWilson, and knew what I wanted to try. You may think my finished card bears little rememblance to Tammy’s but it’s funny how the creative process flows…

I love using our Subtle colours for springtime and Easter cards. This week, I’ve used Balmy Blue, So Saffron and Soft Sea Foam against a mat and nest of Crumb Cake.

Even though my feathers looked bright white lying on the green grass, they do look a lot more grey lying against our Basic White cardstock.

On the So Saffron sample, I used some elegant faceted gems and also some flicks of Wink of Stella . You can just catch them in the close-up above.
