Monochrome Madness with the Dandy Garden Suite

By | March 16, 2021

In this my Team challenge this week, we challenged ourselves to make some Monochrome cards. My own card coupled with one of my Downline’s card proved to be the inspiration behind my projects for my weekly Facebook Live, Monochrome Madness.

Monchrome cards in shades of Blue and Yellow featuring DSP from Dandy Garden and the gorgeous Dragonfly Garden bundle

I started off by using the more monochrome patterns in the Dandy Garden DSP in the same way as my Sunday card. I particularly love Misty Moonlight and have to admit that might be my favourite out of the two.  Monchrome cards in shades of Blue featuring DSP from Dandy Gardne and the gorgeous Dragonfly Garden bundle

This time, I cut 3 small squares with the Stitched Shapes dies. I used the stamps from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set in the corresponding colours on the small squares.  I also punched out the Dragonfly with the matching punch (which is available as a bundle with 10% off. – just sayin’!!)

Finally, for a little embellishment, I used a little Wink of Stella on the wings and the flower heads.  Wink of Stella is my go-to embellishment.  I don’t believe there is anything in crafting that doesn’t suit a little extra sparkle from this little pen of gorgeousness!!

If you would like to see how I made the card then do click on the video below.  I also use my Stampin’ Cut and Emboss for the first time – and get in a right pickle!!

Finally, here is everything I used on today’s project.  Don’t forget to use the current host code, pictured on the right side bar to receive an extra gift in the post from me as a little thank you.

Until next time, happy crafting
