Quite Curvy Spring Wreath

By | February 10, 2021

During my Sunday night team challenge, we decided to focus on the theme of ‘Creatures’; think Donkeys, Turtles, Birds, Sharks etc etc. I decided to crack open a set that I purchased in a promotion before Christmas but had yet to ink up. There are the cutest little bird stamps in the set.  So I made a Quite Curvy Spring Wreath.

I coupled this set with the gorgeous Hydrangea Hill DSP which has the most beautiful array of colours.  I then carried these colours across into the wreath.

I’ve used our Stampin’ Blends to colour the birds and the foliage on the wreath.  I couldn’t decide on whether the birds should be more realistic or slightly more Disney-esque – and it was a split vote from the ladies watching live so I included both!

You can see how I made the card here on my FB Live

I have to admit I had made a version of this card on my team challenge but I wasn’t happy with it and didn’t stick it down. Just goes to show you, that you can always revisit a project, and rework it until you’re happy with it. I only made a couple of subtle changes but it totally changed the card.  So if you’re not happy, don’t stick it down, come back to it the next day and you never know what fresh eyes will help you see.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. I’ve included all the products I used in the list below. If you would like to make a purchase, just click on any of the item  and it will bring you to the item in my shop. Don’t forget to use the current host code, TNBARGK9, to receive a gift in the post from me as a thank you.

Of course, should your wish list be long, do consider joining my team of Aces and Diamonds before the end of Sale-a-bration.  It’s such a great offer!
