Stampin Up Male Birthday Bonanza

By | July 22, 2014

If you are stuck for cardmaking ideas and inspiration for the men in your life then keep your eyes peeled this week.  It’s Birthday week here at Stamp in Colour as my husband and step-son share their Birthday and it’s this Wednesday, so myself and the kids have been busy crafting to get our cards ready.

I doubt my stepson reads my blog so I think I’m fairly safe in posting one of his cards.  This one, as you can tell, is from the kids.

Stampin' Up maleMoonlight Birthday card-001

It is cased from Linda Aarhus and you can see her card here

I just love the colour combination of Sahara Sand, Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honeyin the Moonlight DSP and must admit, I am almost finished my pack of Sahara Sand cardstock that I received last week.  I think it’s a pretty unisex combination and can be adapted easily for a male or female card – hope my stepson agrees!

Now I know, the ribbon is really crumb cake but I was hoping a 20-something year old young man wouldn’t really notice this tiny  colour difference!

The card had a number of different elements but was fairly easy to recreate.  Here’s what you will need if you would like to recreate my version of the card
