Firstly, thank you so much to the Design Team at CAS for picking my card as one of the winners in Challenge #155.
I’ve been so busy lately, I haven’t managed to compete in a challenge and have quite missed it, but am combining two challenges in one today with the CAS Colours & Sketches #158 and my own team challenge.
Each month at our monthly get-together, after we’ve had some crafting and training, we all leave with a challenge. I give my team a set of supplies and they have to create a card using the given supplies and stamps etc from their own stash. This month, we had some Basic Black cardstock, Mint Macaron cardstock and two pieces of DSP from the It’s my Party DSP stack.
I decided to use this week’s sketch from CAS as a starting point.
Here was the sketch from CAS
and here was the card I came up with – you can never have enough thank you cards!
and another view…
I do hope you like today’s entry and I would love to hear from you.
As always, here is everything I used on the card

Until next time, happy crafting

Great card using the sketch, with quite a masculine feel. I know what you mean about thank you cards! Thanks for playing along at CC&S

I like how the angled sentiment plays along with the striped designer paper. The black + white + one other color combo is always a classic, and it looks really good with the mint green. Thanks for joining us at CC&S! 🙂
Thank you so much Patricia!
Eimear – I love this card. It’s simple (my favourite) and incorporates the sketch without looking forced. I’m so glad that you joined us at CAS Colours & Sketches this week and hope to see you again soon. Liz x
I know what you mean about forced. I sometimes struggle with this style of sketch but am pleased with this one. Thanks!
Wonderful card! I love the color combo you used and the classic stripe paper is perfect! Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S!
Thank you Karen
