Stampin’ Creative January Blog Hop – Love is in the Air

By | January 30, 2016

It’s been a busy ten days or so and I haven’t been blogging much, between classes, family christenings and birthdays it’s been pretty busy time for us, so I’m very much looking forward to this weekend and a rest!  Well – as much of a rest as is possible with 4 kids under 7 – though I can say under 8 on Sunday!

So a quick post from me today as I’m writing this in the wee small hours after my Project Life class on Friday night! As we are fast approaching Valentine’s Day, we thought we’d get a bit of love in the air with our Blog Hop today and If you’ve come from Emma I’m sure you’re getting that loving feeling already.

I’ve gone for Going Global as my set of choice today and my first card is probably a sentiment I would use in a Valentine’s card for my husband as we’ve had a fair few adventures together over the years!

My next card is one I thought my husband could make for me as I think he truly would be a bit lost without me, even if I do say so myself!!

So here is my second offering…

This card uses the fabulous DSP called Perfectly Artistic which I thought looked perfect for this project as it reminded me of whirly swirly fog or getting lost in the mists of time – ok I know I’m getting a bit carried away!!  This DSP is FREE with a £45 purchase in our fabulous Sale-a-bration promotion but this particular item is only available until February 15th.  I love it and it’s available in 6 double-sided designs with some gorgeous colours!

I hope this has given you some food for thought and a little inspiration for your own cardmaking projects this month.  As always here is a list of everything used in today’s projects, please click on the items you would like to purchase to bring you straight to my shop.  Don’t forget a £45 purchase will earn you a FREE SAB item and by using the current Rainbow Rewards shopping code MRCJ9B2E you will receive an extra thank you in the post from me.

I love both of these (runs off to add this stamp set to my next order); two lovely contrasting cards showing off the same stamp set – so clever! The night of navy card is so lush and the compass looks 3D. Plus, there’s lots of silver embossing, so obviously this has won my heart 🙂 x

Case away Lesley! There is something about navy and silver together – I just love that colour combo! And suits the stamp set so well – one of my favourites in the Spring Summer catalogue!
