A very very quick post from me to squeeze a last minute entry into the Global Design Project challenge for this week.
This week we were to case a design from one of the designers, Louise Sharp. Here is Louise’s card.
I was inspired by the circular wreath shape used in her card, and for some reason, Christmas Pudding came into my head. If truth be told, I had a quick scan of the other entries this morning and thought, oh no, someone else has thought of it!! But once I put my specs on, I realised it was not a plum pudding at all!! oh the joys of having dodgy vision!
Here is my design.
I’ve used the Merry Moments DSP stack on a thin layer of Very Vanilla, on a base card of Chocolate Chip.
I’ve used the Circle Framelits (thanks Caroline) to cut out my pudding and the custard scallop comes from the Circle Thinlit Card as does the die used to cut out my greeting which comes from the Christmas Cuties stamp set.
My leaves are made using the small oval in Garden Green and I’ve cut out little half circles with the half inch circle punch – I used this same punch for the holly berries. I sponged the outside of the leaves and berries in their respective colours for a little definition.
I do hope you like it and here is a list of everything I used on the card.
Until next time, happy crafting,
Eimear
Hello, after reading this awesome article i am as well delighted
to share my familiarity here with friends.
My father (who is still in great shape at age 83 – thank goodness!) dressed
in a suit and tie every work day for more than 30 years.
Mine too – he only retired a few years ago!! He’s a marvel!
How cute is this dimensional pudding?!! It looks good enough to eat! Thanks for playing at Global Design Project this week!
Thanks Paula! Enjoyed this one 😊
So clever Eimear! I love this Christmas Puddin’ – super cute.
Thanks so much for playing along to our Global Design Project, CASE the Designer challenge this week, your card is fabulous. Louise xo
Thanks Louise! I had a flash of inspiration but thought the challenge was closed – very pleased to add it on at the last minute!
