Quirky Christmas Twinkle Trees for #GDP049

By | August 17, 2016

It’s been a while since I played along with a challenge and when I saw the colour challenge over at the Global Design Project, I thought it would be perfect for a non-traditional quirky Christmas card.

Here are the colours we were asked to play with this week.

Colour Challenge 49

I’m sure you would admin that they wouldn’t be an obvious Christmas card palette, but it was the first thing that sprang to mind – heavily influenced by my recently arrived pre-order. So here’s a sneak peak of a fabulous new set called Twinkle Trees coming soon in our brand new Autumn/Winter catalogue.

Quirky Christmas Twinkle Trees #GDP049-001

I have so many plans for this set, and I think it just screams to be used with non-traditional colours! So watch this space – I am really pleased with how this one turned out. It is so easy to do and just to prove it, here’s a quick video.

Don’t worry, you won’t have to strain your neck, it is just the thumbnail that it is the wrong way round!!

I cannot include Twinkle Trees in my product list as it is not available just yet, but you have only days to wait as we launch our new catalogue on September 1st!

Here is a list of the other products I used for today’s quirky Christmas card, if there is anything you wish to purchase, just click on the image to bring you straight to that item in my shop.  Don’t forget to use the current host code if your order is between £25 – £150 to receive a few gift from me in the post.

Until next time, happy crafting!

Lovely card. It’s nice to see a Christmas card in these very non-traditional colours. Thanks for the inspiration and for joining in with this week’s Global Design Project!
