Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop for June. You’re currently visiting Eimear at Stamp in Colour and a big Hello from me. You may have arrived from Pip or this may be your first visit this morning, either way you are very welcome – do continue your hop by using the next button at the end of this post. Our theme for this month is simply showing you how on trend Stampin’ Up’s Annual catalogue truly is. If you’ve joined in on our recent #ifoundaflamingo fun on social media, you may have noticed that the high street is full of flamingos, pineapples not to mention each one of our In Colours!
I chose to showcase Pop of Paradise this morning, inspired by some party items I purchased in Sainsbury’s for my recent Catalogue Launch Party.
I bought these cute little retro style milk bottles and added some ‘melon mambo’ straws which I just had to decorate a little more.
Here they are all together
I used a few more of the stamps in the set to create a fun card with the technique known as Triple Time Stamping. Pop back on Monday and I’ll show you a step by step guide on how to achieve this technique.
The colours I’ve used include two of our new in-colours, Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy along with my old favourite Melon Mambo. I must admit, that Peekaboo Peach did not initially appeal to me, but it works really well in this card as my pineapple colour and I’ve found it is certainly growing on me.
I fussy cut my Flamingo (which for some reason I keep calling a Pelican!!) and popped her up on dimensionals as I did with my thank you banner.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my projects this month, do hop on to Sarah at Stamp with Sarah by clicking on the link below. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us. If you get lost along the way, the full line-up is at the end of the post.
