Cool for kits header

Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop for July – this month we are showing you some alternative uses for our kits. You may have arrived from Mikalea or this may be your first stop, either way you are very welcome.

I’ve chosen to highlight the stamp set included in the Oh Happy Day kit – I really like the fun, vibrant colours in the kits and once you are finished with the kit, you are left with a such a fun stamp set that is so versatile!

Just to show you the set in another light, I steered away from bright colours and went with black and gold. And here is a great party card using this stamp set.  As you may have seen from my recent posts I am pretty addicted to shaker cards after I recently highlighted them in my Technique Tuesday class this month.

I frugally used the inner star from the card to add a little decoration to my matching gift wallet made using the Gift Card Envelope dies.

I added some more washi to the inside of the card with a few extra sequins.

And a final shot of my card upright – have you tried a shaker card yet?

The dimensional strips make it so easy to have a go, so do try it. I’ve listed everything you need to make this card so you can have a go yourself.

Don’t forget there are literally a couple of days left to earn yourself a Bonus Day voucher. For every £45 you spend, you will earn a £4.50 voucher to spend in August – how good is that?  Use my current hostess code for orders between £25 and £150 and I will send you a little gift along with the card featured in our blog hop today.

So do continue the hop on to Gina back in my homeland, I’ll bet she has something beautiful to show us. Just click on the link below. The full list is below should you get lost along the way.

Until next time, happy crafting,

Fantastic way to showcase this stampset – it’s so versatile and can be used lots after the kit is finished and I love your colour combo – so classy and striking!

Oh Eimear, I love your shaker card. It would make an amazing New Year’s Eve card or a party invite for a milestone Birthday. Love your choice of colours too xx
