Stampin’ Creative Sneak Peek of Sale-a-bration and Spring Summer 2018

By | December 30, 2017

Welcome to the final Stampin’ Creative Hop of 2017 where we are giving you a Sneak Peek of the upcoming Spring Summer 2018 catalogue. There are so many good things coming your way, but I wanted to give you a sneak peek of one product in particular, the Lots of Happy Card Kit.

Every time I buy one of Stampin’ Up’s kits, I think they can’t top it and then they bring out yet another fabulous kit.  In all honesty, it will be hard to top this one.  It is perfect for novice and experienced crafters alike. Sometimes, more experienced crafters miss the challenge of creating that a kit sometimes lacks. This kit definitely makes up for it with the colouring and blending.  You can use the included watercolour pencils to colour dry or add a blender pen to your order and blend those beautiful colours together.

Here are the cards you can create if following the kit.

Once you have completed the kit, you can purchase another refill at just £19 which includes all the card basses, elements and envelopes to create another 20 cards. However, today I wanted to show you a couple of alternative projects you could make with the Lots of Happy stamp set included in the kit.

First of all, I’ve used the smaller flower stamp to create a background on Shimmery White and used the watercolour pencils to lightly colour the background.

I adore the new metallic-edged Berry Burst ribbon so I just had to use it as an embellishment.

I also used it as a feature for my second card which is incredibly simple to recreate.  I’ve stamped the larger floral stamp randomly tone on tone using Berry Burst.

Then, the ribbon was folded together with the Mini sequin trim as an embellishment behind my sentiment.

We are so proud of Emma recently being chosen to represent the UK as a member of the Stampin’ UP Artisan team.  You can find the full line-up below in case you get lost along the way.
