I have a quirky little card for you today to enter into the CAS Challenge 152.
This week was a sketch challenge and we were asked to use the sketch below as inspiration.
It reminded me of Ying and Yang so that led my initial interpretation as I decided to invert the colours. I originally wanted to use something else, but had lent the pivotal product to a customer who is waiting on her own order to arrive. Then the Greetings Thinlits popped into my head – I tried them out and am quite pleased with the result.
I’ve inlaid the words into the gaps left by the thinlits and used a little bit of metallic thread behind my ovals. I quite enjoyed making something other than a Christmas card though I couldn’t stray too far from the shiny stuff!
I hope you like it too and would love to know your thoughts so do leave a comment,
Until next time, happy crafting,
Eimear
Just found your site and love this, clean and classic card. Look forward to seeing more 🙂

Thank you Veronica, come back soon!
Wow! I LOVE this! This is an amazing take on the sketch, the colours are so elegant and the silver just adds enough of a bling feel to this CaS card. Thanks for playing at CC&S

I love this card! The color scheme gives timeless elegance to your card, and the shiny silver cardstock and metallic thread add a fun touch. I really like the simple design of the embossing folder and the inlaid sentiment. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful card with us at CC&S, and best of luck to you in our DT call!
Thank you Patricia, it’s a great folder! And it only looks like snow in the right context!
Gorgeous! Love that ying and yang! Thanks for playing along and entering the DT call at CC&S.
Thanks Jane – enjoyed this one, once the inspiration hit!!
