Our theme this month is Party Time – and what better suite than Broadway Bound?! It screams PARTY from the rooftops – the party can be any sort of a celebration though some of the sentiments are more suited towards Birthdays. I’ve chosen to make mine a Birthday card as I chose the candle DSP.
And here it is…
I do love Monochrome cards, so this Black, White and Gold sheet of Broadway Bound DSP was a winner for me. The DSP also features Lemon Lime Twist and the new Lovely Lipstick so there is plenty of colour in this Suite if Monochrome is not for you.
I might have overdone it on the Rhinestones but after the last couple of weeks I thought the recipient of this card deserved it! If you follow my blog, you may know my mother was taken seriously ill last week, so in times of crisis, I guess you re-evaluate your priorities. Time is so precious and we really don’t value our time with our loved ones enough. And that goes for everything!
We hear the old mantras about using the best china now, and not keeping that good bottle of wine for a special occasion, and you know what, it’s the same for that gorgeous DSP or those fabulous rhinestones! What are we keeping them for!? We are cardmakers!! The people we are making these cards for deserve our best supplies!! So throw caution to the wind, and cut up that gorgeous DSP, pile on those special embellishments! They’re worth it, you’re worth it, they’re worth it!!
