I recently celebrated my 5 Years as a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator – Happy Anniversary to me! Like many other demonstrators, I joined for the demonstrator discount. However I didn’t plan to just buy products at a discount, I loved so much of the first catalogue I saw I knew that wasn’t enough. I also wanted to earn products for free too and therefore pretty quickly started a business.
I have loved every minute of my ‘ journey’ so far. Unlike many other businesses, you really can take it at your own pace. My third child was 1 when I started, she’s now six and my fourth child is 3!! I’ve let the pace of my life dictate the pace of my business so sometimes I’ve slowed things down a bit, and then when things have come back to normal I’ve picked up the pace. That is the true beauty of this business.
Of course, I have my lovely team of demonstrators to thank for their camaraderie and support – life just wouldn’t be the same without my cheese-loving Aces and Diamonds! Here are some of us at the recent Onstage 2018 in Telford last month.
I’ve also chosen my anniversary to do a little revamp of my blog. Thanks to my lovely friend Michelle, I have a brand new header – what do you think? I don’t miss my rainbow butterflies at all and am in love with my new look. I hope to bring the whole look together over the coming days and weeks so watch this space… literally!
