Quick and Easy Christmas Cards

By | August 12, 2016

I’ve been missing in action for a while enjoying some precious summer time with my four little munchkins but it’s time to get my Christmas craft on!  As demonstrators, we are already privy to the fabulous Autumn Winter catalogue (believe me, it doesn’t disappoint!), but if you would like to get a head start on your crafting, we have several Chrstimas sets in our Annual catalogue including the one I have used today, Holly Jolly Greetings.

Today’s card is perfect for mass production. It really takes no time at all and if you have everything cut and prepped, you can easily  stamp and assemble 10 or 20 in a very short space of time.

I’ve used three shades of ink to give an ombré effect and just used a little bling in the form of silver metallic thread and rhinestones as I think it’s almost impossible not to bling up a Christmas card -don’t you?!

You can see exactly how I created the card in this short video – my first! I hope you like it and that it explains how I achieved the ombré effect. I’ve included a really good tip on how to achieve straight greetings and sentiments which I hope you find useful. Let me know what you think.
