Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Fancy Folds

By | September 24, 2020

I’ve missed hopping with my favourite ladies and am delighted to return especially when this month’s theme is Fancy Folds.

I do love a Fancy Fold, it can take a Plain Jane card to wow-dom!! Not that I think my card today is Plain Jane but it’s so easy to create and packs a punch too. I’ve used the fabulous Nothing’s Better Than bundle which you can find in the Annual Catalogue and teamed it one of our best DSP’s In Good Taste.

You would be forgiven for wondering where the Fancy Fold as, so far, it looks like a normal card fitting in a normal envelope and then….

It pops up like so!   I love it as it is such a simple card to make  – no strange dimensions, just score the front piece straight down the middle and place your die-cuts in such a way that the card stays open.

It works so well with this bundle –  and let’s face it, a day without coffee is fairly unthinkable for me lol!  I think with all this typing (and considering I’m only about half an hour before the hop goes live!!), it’s about time I poured myself another.

Do enjoy hopping around the rest of the team – we have some amazing fancy folds to show you.

Starter Kit September Promotion

Don’t forget that this month, we have a fabulous offer on our Starter Kit.

  • In addition to the regular starter kit (for 129 € | £99, you can choose 175 € | £130 worth of products) and you will also receive enough cardstock pieces to make 16 cards, a pack of Rhinestone Basic Jewels, the So Much Love stamp set, and the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set – wowee!! Bargain as my son would say!
  • 8 packs of pre-cut cardstock of the Coastal Cabana pack will be provided, and 8 packs of pre-cut cardstock of the Granny Apple Green pack, for a total of 16 cards (packs include envelopes). So you have enough supplies to get started on projects right away – just as soon as Mr UPS pulls up on your drive – how good is that?!
  • Just remember the offer ends on September 30th – that’s next Wednesday, so not long to decide what else to put in your starter kit.
  • It’s such a great deal, jump right in here?

Finally, I’ve included a list of the various products I used to make today’s Fancy Fold card – if you wish to make a purchase, please use the current Rainbow Rewards Shopping Code at my online shop and I will send you a free gift in the post as a thank you.

Until next time, happy crafting
