Casing Shelli with Best Dressed Gift Card Holder |

This month the Stampin’ Creative team have decided to case projects from the founder of Stampin’ Up herself, the lovely Shelli Gardner. I would class Shelli’s style as soft, feminine and whimsical with plenty of layers which I feel is in contrast to my own style. Having said that, I’m not sure what my style exactly is …?? A couple of her most recent blog projects caught my eye and my Best Dressed Gift Card Holder was born.

Here are the cards I cased from Shelli’s blog; two gorgeous Congratulations cards send to Patty Bennet and Sam Donald, two of our amazing demonstrators.

And here is my version of Shelli’s gorgeous projects. I’ve used the Best Dressed bundle which will feature at my Spring Crafternoon Tea this weekend. I can’t wait to share this suite with my ladies. It has an amazing collection of images some of which are flirty and feminine like those I’ve used here to replicate Shelli’s style.

The Best Dressed gift card holder is very easy to make and is simply a sheet of A4 cardstock scored in three sections. ( You can see an older Christmas version I created here.) The front section has 2 cm cut off and the corners rounded off with the Detailed Trio Punch.

I’ve stamped the floral image all over in versa mark so that the wallet has a soft feminine feel. Similar flowers are found in the DSP and I fussy cut those layering them around the sentiment.

This would make a great gift whether as a thank you or a ‘just because’. You could have a gift card inside, a voucher or even another card. Super easy to recreate for any occasion!
