We had a great family celebration at the weekend where my son made his First Communion. He was among a group of 8 children and to mark the occasion, I made each of them a little First Communion gift, a Hold on to Hope bookmark.
As you can probably gather there were 5 boys and 3 girls in the group. I used the retiring shades of Soft Sky and Pink Pirouette. Each bookmark is exactly the same, just in a different colour.
There is a top layer of vellum on which I stamped the floral image from Hold on to Hope in versa mark.
I then stamped the cross in either Soft Sky or Pink Pirouette. You may recognised a die from Frozen Treats and the one inch circle punch. I was able to personalise the gift with the exact date of the service using Make a Difference stamp set.
I stamped the beautiful bible quotation on the rear of the bookmark.
Everything I used for the Hold on to Hope First Communion Gifts is listed below. Do remember the colours I’ve used are retiring with the launch of our new catalogue on June 1st. If you would like to make a purchase, remember to use the current Rainbow Rewards host code at check out to receive an extra free gift in the post from me. luckily the Hold on to Hope set is sure to stay for one more year at the very least. I adore it and have used it on several projects, you may remember this one.
