I am so glad I purchased the Hold on to Hope Bundle. I originally purchased it to make sympathy cards for my Mum with a further idea for Communion cards for my son. However, I’ve also used the bundle to make a gorgeous piece of home decor earlier this month and today, I’ve used the Hold on to Hope bundle for a beautiful Easter card.
I’m afraid as I looked through my Supply stash – I did not have a current Happy Easter sentiment (how did that happen??!) so I’m afraid I have sneaked in a retired product for the sentiment. I do apologise as it is no longer available to purchase.
Tips and tricks for my Hold on to Hope Easter card
- Mask the section you don’t want ink on with Sticky notes
- Use the lines on your grid paper to help you line it up evenly
- Start off in the centre and sponge on Crushed Curry – don’t forget to sponge off a little on scrap paper first before sponging on the Shimmery White
- Then start off at the top and then bottom of the Shimmery White and sponge towards the centre – putting more colour at the edge than in the centre.
- I sponged the cross first in Versamark, then in Soft Suede before clear embossing it. It gives the cross a beautiful shine in real life – but it is tricky to show off in photos.
- Finally, the cross is die-cut in gold foil and placed on top using the adhesive sheets.
This gorgeous bundle is £45 in wood-mount and £38.50 in clear-mount. Purchasing the wood-mount bundles means you are entitled to add a Sale-a-bration item free of charge to your order. Purchasing the clear-mount bundle, means you could include another product on your order to reach the £45 Sale-a-bration threshold and then you can add a FREE sale-a-bration product to your order. This is most definitely the time to add thus bundle to your basket – just don’t forget to check out before the end of the month to qualify for Sale-a-bration benefits.
Don’t forget to add the current host code at check out to receive another gift in the post from me – I always send my customers something as a thank-you, but using the host code enables me to buy you something with the host rewards.
