Incredible Like You for Enjoy the Little Things in Life Video Blog hop

Hello and welcome to this month’s Enjoy the Little Things in Life Video Blog Hop. We are a group of demonstrators around the world who come together once a month to  give you inspiration and help you with your creativity by showing you a few hints and tips through our videos. This month we are showcasing anything we fancy!  I’ve chosen to show you a set that we received at the Onstage event to celebrate Stampin’ Up!’s 30th Birthday – Incredible Like You.

It has some beautiful floral images and some really great sentiments including the one I chose today, ‘so glad we are friends’.  I’ve chosen to use the 2018-2020 In colours to show you how well they co-ordinate together.  They make a great first purchase if you are thinking about how to choose a small selection of colours that blend well together.

Tips and Tricks for my Incredible Like You card

• If your ink pad is a little too juicy, then dab a little excess ink away with some kitchen roll.
• Fussy cut the flowers by moving the cardstock to the scissors and not the other way round.  This will help your cutting to be a lot smoother.
• Judge where you are going to place your element as you can happily put your adhesive behind this piece knowing it will not show,  you could also add some glue dots behind the enamel dots for extra safety!
• Vellum is s great tool to soften a card and give a dream-like feeling to everything – `I love using it!

All in all, it’s a very simple card – you just need patience for the fussy cutting but here is a video showing you how I made it.
