It’s almost Christmas – can’t actually believe I’m writing that sentence!! So our theme this month with the Stampin’ Creative crew is White Christmas. This could be taken literally or loosely – I’ve gone for the latter and made a White Christmas wreath.
I would also like to welcome the very lovely Emilie Poncelet to our hop this morning all the way from Canada.
I’ve modelled it on a wreath I made for my retreat back in October. I showcased it as part of our blog hop last month . Doesn’t it look different in frosty White Christmas colours?
Tips and Tricks for my White Christmas Wreath
- I used the same sized wreath that I purchased from Ebay for my previous project (6 inch). I punched several sprigs with the Spring Punch in Whisper White, and a few highlights in Smoky Slate and Silver Foil.
- The flowers are from my favourite set of the moment, Pop of Petals. I heat embossed six flowers in Silver and mounted two together in a little array.
- Each centre has a little rhinestone for a bit more sparkle.
- I debated whether or not to use ribbon but decided against it. However, I’ve hung it with the gorgeous Silver and White Baker’s Twine.
