Happiness Blooms Thank You Card for Case-ing Tuesday #185

I took part in a quick Facebook challenge today called Case-ing Tuesday.  The challenge co-ordinator puts up a card to case every week and we make our own version inspired by the card. The original card uses Happiness Blooms so I was inspired to mix it up a little and make a Happiness Blooms Thank you card. Here was the original card from the Stampin’ Up! catalogue   and the… Read More »

Simple Stamping with Floral Romance for Stampin’ Creative

Welcome to this months Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop where our theme is Simple Stamping. I’ve chosen to showcase my Simple Stamping with Floral Romance, a set I would probably have overlooked if I were not using it for my upcoming WLCR retreat this weekend. Now that I’ve worked with it, I just love it! But first a welcome to you.  You may have arrived from Kim over at Simply Fairies… Read More »

Simple Stamping with Amazing Life

I set myself a challenge to do some simple stamping this year.  It is a real challenge for me but a challenge that Stampin’ Up! themselves started at our last Onstage, so I had to give it a go. I wanted to do some simple stamping with Amazing Life, which was a set we received in our goody bags last Onstage. I don’t think my cards or my style is… Read More »

Cross of Hope Sympathy Cards

I made a batch of sympathy cards recently and thought I would share them with you. Some of the products used are now retired (DSP and ribbon) but are easily swapped out for current products, or products in your own stash. This DSP in Berry Burst was in our 2017-2018 catalogue but I loved the Ombre look. We have similar papers in this years catalogue, or you could achieve a… Read More »

Apologies for Being MIA

I realise it’s quite a while since my last post and if you don’t follow me on Facebook, you may not realised why I have been missing in action. Unfortunately, my dear father passed away just before Christmas – this was just four and a half months after my Mum passed away this Summer. The last few weeks have been especially hard. We had been preparing ourselves for Christmas without… Read More »

Happy Birthday with Broadway Bound

We recently celebrated a milestone birthday in our family, so it was time to make a very special Birthday card. It took a brave cut of the Broadway Bound DSP – this number page is my favourite!  I made an extra large Birthday card so all the family could sign it.  Sometimes I find it easier to cut the DSP when it’s for a larger project – do you find… Read More »

Start the Week Stamping with Star of Light

Apologies that this post is a little late today – but I’m back with a Simple Stamping project using Star of Light.  Did you know that we have lots of Christmas stamps in our Annual catalogue too?  This set also has a set of matching thinlit dies but for my Simple Stamping project today, I am just going to use the Star of Light set. This card is perfect for… Read More »

White Christmas Wreath for Stampin’ Creative Saturday

It’s almost Christmas – can’t actually believe I’m writing that sentence!! So our theme this month with the Stampin’ Creative crew is White Christmas.  This could be taken literally or loosely – I’ve gone for the latter and made a White Christmas wreath. I would also like to welcome the very lovely Emilie Poncelet to our hop this morning all the way from Canada. I’ve modelled it on a wreath… Read More »

Onstage 2018 Swaps and Gifts

If you follow me on Facebook or indeed any other demonstrators, you have probably seen most of what we got up to a couple of weeks ago at our Onstage 2018 gatherings around the world.  I showed you my Onstage 2018 swap recently and even made a video about to recreate it.  I also showed you the little gifts that I made my team. Today I would like to show you… Read More »

Start the week with Simple Stamping – Santa’s Workshop

I’m a huge fan of the Santa’s Workshop suite – you may have seen it before in a more complicated card. However, I also wanted to feature it in my Simple Stamping series.  In fact, there is very little stamping in this card at all, so it’s a very gentle introduction to stamping in card making, If you had the co-ordinating framelits, you could die-cut the elves straight from the… Read More »

Simple Stamping with the Joyous Noel Suite

Following on from my sneak peek post yesterday I decided to use this layout for a second card.  Tis time, I’m back to our current products and also back on a Christmas theme.  I adore the Joyous Noel suite and just had to use the beautiful copper DSP. It is so stunning in real life – the pictures in the catalogue do not convey just how gorgeous it is. I hope… Read More »

Incredible Like You meets Frosted Floral DSP

While we were at our recent Onstage gathering, we were reminded that not all of our class attendees have craft stashes the same size as ours! What?!! No, I jest! I know I am lucky to have lots of space and a lot of stash but we were reminded to go back to our roots and try some simple stamping. This is not easy for me! My supply lists are… Read More »

Onstage 2018 Part Two – Team Gifts

I was lucky to have 8 of my team join me for Onstage 2018 in Birmingham last weekend. It’s the perfect opportunity to treat them to a little gift.  I love to go to town a bit on the packaging – not least because I know, as crafters, they will really appreciate it. Equally, I know they will also love working out what I’ve used. We have the fabulous linen… Read More »

My Onstage swaps to celebrate Stampin’ Up’s 30th Birthday

This weekend marked the end of Stampin’ Up’s 30th Birthday year-long celebrations.  We partied all over the world from Orlando in the States, to Brisbane in Oz and Birmingham here in the UK amongst other locations!  It is traditional at Stampin’ Up! events to swap card fronts and project ideas (totally optional but fun!) and I thought I’d show you the swap I’d made. After falling in love with embossing… Read More »

Pop of Petals for our Flower Themed Video Blog Hop

Welcome to this month’s Enjoy the Little Things in Life Video Blog Hop where our theme is ‘All Things Flowers’.  I hadn’t used my Pop of Petals bundle very much since I purchased it back in the summer so thought it was the perfect set for this month’s video hop.
