New Beginnings with Ridiculously Awesome

Welcome to our first Stampin’ Creative Blog Hope of 2021 where our theme is new beginnings.  I could harp on about the state of the planet, but I think we’ll breeze past that without dwelling on it and focus more on the theme of today which is indeed New Beginnings.  I chose a wonderful stamp set designed bt the very lovely Ronda Wade together with Sean Douglass, our CEO’s talented husband.  The sentiment I have chosen from this set could cover many occasions; our current climate here in the UK, or even a job move, a house move etc, so without further ado, let me introduce my New Beginnings with Ridiculously Awesome project.

I love this paper which is currently free with a £45 purchase in Sale-a-bration.  It’s called Fields and Flowers and at first glance, you may think it a little on the dark side.  For me, the black just makes the colours really pop and I just love it.

I thought this particular design worked well with the sentiment given the white dots are shining bright in the darkness – a bit like faith.  It also coupled well with the Polka Dot Tulle ribbon.

Gorgeous Lettering…

The sentiments in this stamp set are perfect for heat embossing with their brush stroke lettering, I just love them and here, I have embossed in white on black, bringing in the colours in the DSP.

I hope you like my card this morning, and I do hope that your Faith is Bigger than your Fear, whether that be faith in yourself, faith in your God or even faith that things will turn around and get better.  Do hop along on round the rest of the team.
