Stampin’ Creative In-Colour Combo

By | June 25, 2020

Welcome to this months Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop where our theme is In-Colour Combo.  This year we have some fabulous new In-colours.  I think it may be the first year that I have loved them all equally. And the first card I wanted to show you is how well all 5 of them look together.  Therefore my first In-colour combo features all five in-colours.

If you haven’t already seen our new In-colours, say Hello to Cinnamon Cider, Bumblebee, Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight and Just Jade.  I was inspired by a card by the lovely Tracy Bish on a recent blog hop I took part in where we were making cards from scraps.  This is a great idea for off-cuts when you are cutting card fronts.  I’ve just lined them up evenly on a piece of Basic Black.  These colours really lend themselves to a dramatic background.  The sentiment comes from a new stamp set designed by one of our million dollar achievers, Ronda Wade and our CEO’s husband, Sean Douglass.

The sentiment was stamped on Vellum and die-cut with my favourite Stitched Shapes Framelits – do you not yet have these dies?!  What are you waiting for?!! They are AMAZING and by far, the most used die set in my collection EVER!!

Get Well In-Colour Combo Card

One of our gorgeous DSPs this year features all of our In-colours. They are so bright and fresh and lend themselves well to floral displays.  This particular design from Flowers for Every Season is teamed with Poppy Parade for a perfect card to cheer someone up if they’re feeling under the weather.

Can you spot those Stitched Shape dies again?! This time I’ve used the squares – can you tell I adore them?  If I’m using DSP on a project, I do love to add a tiny strip on the inside and (when I remember!) a piece on the envelope flap too.

I do so love these In-Colours, they can be bright and funky as you see here, or alternatively you can tone them down by just using the Misty Moonlight, Cinammon Cider and Bumblebee like in the World of Good Suite.  I am sure you are going to love them as much as I do.  Do hop on around the rest of the group and see what everyone is showcasing.  We will have some fabulous projects for you.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today, to follow is s list of everything I used in today’s projects. If you would like to make a purchase do use the current host code at check out (see the right hand side tool bar) to receive a free gift in the post from me.
